What is TTRockstars?
Times Tables Rock Stars is a carefully sequenced programme of daily times tables practice. At Harefield pupils in Years 3-6 have a personal login. When it comes to times tables, speed AND accuracy are important – the more facts your child remembers, the easier it is for them to do harder calculations. Times Table Rock Stars is a fun and challenging programme designed to help pupils master the times tables! It is recommended that that your child does a little bit of times table practice several times a week. Short bursts of practise on a daily basis are more effective than spending hours once a week.

Garage is the main mode the children should play. As pupils start to answer questions, TT Rock Stars works out which facts they take longer on and will give them more of these questions to answer; or automatically move them onto the next set of multiplication facts. Rock Arena allows players to compete against all other members of their Band/Class (their Band mates would need to join the same game in order to compete together).
What is Doodle Maths?
This Maths Learning Programme creates individual work plans for children from Reception to Year 6, intelligently tailored to their strengths and weaknesses. Designed to reinforce existing knowledge while gradually introducing new concepts, DoodleMaths is ideal for supplementing school learning at home. Not all pupils will have a login, individual teachers will decide which children could benefit from the programme to support or extend their learning.

In school, most children will have the opportunity to use this daily and we recommend that these children practise their ‘5-a-day’ Independently at home every day which should take about 5-10 minutes only
Seesaw Home Learning
At Harefield we use the Seesaw Class App for home learning. Each child has a personal home learning code to access their homework or home learning in the event of a partial or full school closure.
